Wales glorious Wales
If you didn't already know, i've been to Wales.
On Tuesday morning i had to get up at 6 to go to the airport, it has been a while since i've seen 6 am. And when i got there, as i was walking out of the door of the airport in Liverpool (Yoko Ono Airport) Owain was walking in to meet me. Then he drove me back to his house, after a little unplanned detour (ie. we got slightly lost on the way) we arrived at his. the house was really big, and his family are so nice. I was given the guest bedroom which is bigger than my room, and has it's own en suite. I'd never had a double bed all to myself before! So on Tuesday Owain brought me to Llandudno, that is almost certainly the wrong spelling, and for the sake of my sanity don't ask me to pronounce it! It reminded me of the best bits of Bangor only bigger...and welsh.
only that's one thing that i noticed, almost nobody sounded welsh. not that i'm complaining, i just expected to hear something that sounded at least a little bit welsh. After Llandudno we went back to Owain's house and his mum made some delicious dinner, which included some delicious dessert.
and now for some pictures of the wonderfull Llandudno (feel free to correct my spelling of that)
After our trip to ^ there, and our yummy dinner, we went out to the Plough to have a drink with some of his friends. It was fun, quite busy, people seemed quite interested in me because of the fact that i'm irish. many jokes were made about us bombing each other lol. Rhys picked us up about 12 i think, i can't remember i was quite drunk.
The next morning i woke up and had a shower, with a little bit of a sore head, but that was to be expected. There were cleaning ladies in doing the house, that's how posh Owain is, he has cleaning ladies as in more than one!
After Owain got out of bed and we both had some breakfast we went to Chester which was alot of fun, we shopped and had some lunch ,
we walked around the walls, which was a long walk...and we all know what i'm like with walking, but i did feel oddly energetic considering i had been drinking the night before!
LOL on one of the traffic lights we saw a sticker that said www.notenglish.com the poor oppressed welsh, as a fellow minority i have sympathy with their cause.
Well i'm home now :( but am going out for drinks with Queenie, Neil and Julian so that should be fun, it's been forever since i've seen Queenie!!
i have some more pictures from Wales which will be posted if i can ever be bothered
