Muse

Have you ever been anywhere and had such an amazing time that you wished you could just freeze time? Well the past three and a half hours have been like that for me, i'm just in from seeing Muse at the Odyssey. The setlist was spectacular, the performance was arrogant, and the sweat was flying. This may have been one of the best nights of my life. I'm glad that i saw them, that goes without saying. Just to be in the same room as people who are so clearly talented and are basically pure genius (Matt Bellamy)

I'm not one for jumping up and down much. Tonight that was completely shattered, i was into it. As soon as the opening notes of Take A Bow hit i was gone. The songs i NEEDED to hear were played, Plug in Baby, Time is Running Out, Knights of Cydonia, Starlight, invincible, Supermassive Blackhole, Bliss. Hearing Map of the Problematique live is something that the entire world needs to do. The piano break in Butterflies and Hurricanes is quite possibly the single most impressive thing to witness, for me it completely sums Muse up. It's delicate but forceful, it's subtle and quakes you to your bones, it's beauty at it's best.

I wish i could have froze tonight, remember each detail perfectly, sadly i can't. Got a couple of video clips, some good photos (will be a massive FLICKR update tomorrow)

My only regret is that this is my only stop on the Blackholes and Revelations tour.

Now i've gotta sleep. I have to come down now.
