Cleaning spree

After waking up and feeling shit i actually had a wonderfully great day!
I went to uni and just went to one of my lectures, i called into town and met Jennifer and we went for coffee, actually it was just me who had coffee...i'm not greedy really!

We had a great little walk about, and i felt wonderful about myself :) Running into your ex and realising that your life (and hair) is far better than his in every way is so much fun lol
Jenny tried to explain the Northern Ireland trains to me but i'm still confused. It looks like we're going to see a filming of the Blame Game tomorrow night, which reminds me i should ring queenie!

Anyway i've had a fabulous little day, and i'm ending the day with a long over due cleaning spree! Mother shall be so proud

the grand parents big TV adventure

I found out today that my granny and granda are going to be on television!
I knew that they had been talking to some woman from the BBC about maybe being interviewed or something but it's official!
She had read a Newsletter article on them and now wants to feature them in a TV show thing, it's not just about them but it looks like they're going to be on TV! The TV people are organising a big party for them in a couple of weeks when all their dancing friends from over the years are going to attend, it's really great.

After years of me being told the story of how they met and all the people they've taught over the years and all the places their dancing has brought them it's great to know that other people are going to see it :)

here's the link to the Newsletter article about them

i had a kebab

Yesterday was themost fun i've had in a long time!
i had a my french FP2 class in the afternoon with some nice lady who seems incapable of explaining to me what an interrogative pronoun is. i'm sure i'll get it in the end.

After that i met Owain and we came into town and met up with Jenny, had a coffee and a walk about to get some stuff. We got some food in the food court where neil met up with us, Owain couldn't join us for a drink but Neil Jenny and I headed to the Basin

we did not leave the Basin all night.
i got quite drunk.
i am in love with cocktails.
i had a kebab.

thankfully julian came and gave us a lift home
i felt like shit this morning, but it was so much fun i don't care :)

French Lecture number 1

Today was my first french lecture of semester 2, and it was fabulous! It's a mini module called 'le bon usage' and it's all about the development of the french language through the centuries, i love my class, there are lots of people i know from my other tutorials and the lecturer Rosalin Silvester is fab, i was actually talking to her on one of the open days at Queens.

yesterday i bought a Belle and Sebastian CD which i am now in love with, it's called Push Barman to open Old Wounds. It's a collection of their previous limited release EPs and i'm so glad that i bought it!

Tomorrow is going to be a fanatastic day, i can feel it in my womb lol. I am meeting Owain for some coffee before my FP2 tutorial. I haven't seen him since he's gotten back so we'll have lots to catch up on! Then i've got my FP2 at 2 o'clock, i had to change my class but i know at least one person in it because Elizabeth had to change as well.

Then tomorrow night Jenny and I (with possibly Neil and Queenie) are going to Union Street for a drink then out to see Memoirs of a Geisha, it's going to rock. Because if it's anything like the last time we were at Union Street it'll be a night to remember.

Well that's all for today, i'm off to type up my first lecture of the semester.
Oh the joys of Uni work.
