the morning after

Well after last nights fun i woke up to find that i now have Ace of Base Life Is A Flower running through my head (thank you queenie and jenny)
speaking of last night, it was soooo much fun...if you haven't tried Hock wine you really should..........squat position don't you know lol (don't ask)
it was great for us all to get together again, because honestly i can't remember the last time we were all in the one room, it's actually been that long! but the one thing which almost put a dampener on the night was the fact that Owain couldn't come,
i was a little upset about that but hey i'm sure he had his reasons (fucking essays)
and after the mamoth day in work i had yesterday (bloody calander street) i really needed the relaxation and wine that i got last night :)
and then to wake up at half seven this morning with the knowledge that i had to leave the house just after eight to get down to work AGAIN, i tell you ladies and gents that is not a good feeling!

Busy tomorrow!

Another completely lazy-assed day for me, which is always great. I woke up so late it's unbelieveable, and got a text message from Queenie telling me that he's definately coming on Saturday night which is great because i don't see him enough (none of us do)
Went into town and spent a little money in Lush, i could've bought myself a hell of a lot more but i managed to restrain myself (well i say restrain myself, what i actually mean is i spent all i could while leaving myself enough money to get the bus back home) I've just had a bath with the Black Pearl, and let me tell you ladies and gents GET IT! i'm all lovely and sliky smooth...
going to PEC tomorrow morning again (Aga help me) then a Philosophy lecture at 12, and then i gotta go into town and get some alcohol for my little party on sat night, then to finish off my lovely day i've got a closing shift in the wonderful Great Victoria Street!

Rain in Belfast....shocker

Have you ever had one of those days when you wake up, make yourself look really great only to look outside and find that it's raining so hard that the water hurts your head...well today was one such day. I (in my humble opinion) looked really kinda nice this morning, beautifully straight hair and everything. As soon as i opened the front door i was rained on, so i ended up having to go back into the house and change into something less attractive but more suitable for the rain (ie get a hood)
thankfully the rain didn't last all day, by the time i got out of my French tutorial it was pretty much off, then i met Owain to go to the PEC
and the PEC was exhausting, completely exhausting, but also really fun. Thank fuck i have someone to go with, otherwise i know i'd be a lazy-ass and never go...then that would be £50 completely wasted
saddly i don't have time to go to Jenny's house to see the fit dubliner she has staying at hers at the min, which is a shame because we all know that i like to look at pretty men...which is sometimes a bit distracting when i'm at the gym lol

McKeever last night was the funniest thing in the world, such a shame that it was the last performance otherwise i probably would've tried to get tickets for another show. The sex scene has to be seen to be believed, she doesn't get enough publicity! I love McKeever. And yet again i'm sitting messing around on the net when i know i should be doing work for uni, shame on me indeed.
How shit is TV at the minute, i'm just noticing a program on BBC2 which is discussing the Belfast Festival in the style of Newsnight Review, it doesn't sound right to hear people with Belfast accents discussing semi-cultural things. They should be moaning about the political process or throwing petrol bombs!??! (i do love Belfast, honestly)
MARIANNE FAITHFUL!?!?! ok now that she's on this program I LOVE IT! she played God in Ab Fab, anything that has her on it is (despite everything else) completely wonderful!

Ladies, Gents and everone else who happens to be reading my family have just left my house after the "Aunt's birthday gathering" and let me tell you it was fun... ... ...
well i say fun but we all know i don't mean fun, it was yet another tolerable family gathering with great food (supplied by mum [yum yum]) and of course the same jokes from the grandparents that we hear everytime we're in the one place (something about burnt offerings and Steven Segal...don't ask me to explain)
well that's over for today, and at this precise moment in time i should be working on some french i've gotta do for tomorrow but i can't be bothered...and i know that if i don't do it now it won't get done today!
I'm heading out later to see the completely fabulous Nuala McKeever who's doing her one woman show in QFT

Well i've joined the ranks of the Bloggers, i was reading Pink is the new blog (which is fabulous by the way, you all must read it!) and i decided LJ was shit...well not shit but this just looks better!
